Organic mela on Sunday

Titled “ Organic Shandy’, the mela is organised jointly by Jaivik Krishik Society, Save Our Rice Campaign, Samvada, Sahaja Organics (Sahaja samrudha), Era organics, Pristine Organics and Simply Organics.

Speaking about the mela, Krishna Prasad of Sahaja Samrudha said: “With the rising health problems, many consumers are on the lookout for safe and nutritious food. Many people being vulnerable to toxic chemical residues, the solution lies in organic farming which is eco-friendly and healthy.” Several varieties of rice, millets, pulses, vegetables and fruits from different parts of the State will be on for sale.
