National meet on HR paradigms begins

In his inaugural address at a national conference on HR Paradigms in the 21st century: A social perspective at JSS college here, he said the country was a hub of knowledge with five thousands years history of civilisation. The World Health Organisation(WHO) records say that children born in India have the highest intelligence quotient(IQ) than other countries. 

Also, the country has the biggest potential of youth resources or population. “We should be able to build a strong India using our demographic advantage, the social bonding and the strong emotional quotient that existed in family and myriad cultures,” the Minister said.  He said the country should be proud of its human resources. The students of human resources should develop a skill to keep good equations of workforce in the corporate sector. It should be contributing to the social progress and a positive social change, he added.

Delivering his keynote address, Y S Siddegowda, head of the department of Social Work of University of Mysore said HR professionals play a major role in coordinating workforce from different cultures.

The seminar is sponsored by the University Grants Commission(UGC) and jointly organised by post graduate department of social work of JSS College of Arts, Commerce and Science and Mysore chapter of National Institute of Personnel Management(NIPM).

Suttur mutt seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji, K Ananth Gowda, national council member of NIPM, Southern Region, Executive Secretary of JSS Mahavidyapeetha B N Betkerur and others were present.
