Maha NCP leaders meet; Chavan issue not on agenda: Pichad

"It (Chavan's resignation) was not on the agenda. We discussed the party's strategy for the ensuing Legislative Council elections," state NCP chief Madhukar Pichad told PTI.
"Why should we discuss that issue here. It is a matter to be discussed in Delhi," Pichad said.

Elections are being held on November 27 for 11 council seats. These include six from local self-government bodies constituency, three from teachers and two from graduates constituencies.
