JOIN US The association consisting of 204 members has been formed with an initial share capital of Rs 1,10,000.
Speaking to reporters, Association President Wilfred Saldanha said that a revolving fund of Rs one lakh collected will be used to provide loans to farmers who are interested in piggery and also for marketing purpose.
The Association will be inaugurated by District-in-charge Minister Krishna J Palemar at Veterinary Hospital, Jail road, Kodialbail at 11 am.
MLA Yogish Bhat will preside over the function and South Canara District Credit Cooperative (SCDCC) Bank President M N Rajendra Kumar will distribute share capital certificates to the members. MLA Ramanath Rai, Rajya Raitha Sangha President Kodihalli Chandrashekhar, Animal Husbandry Department Joint Director Dr K V Kulkarni and others will be present, he informed.
