Speaking on the occasion of the death anniversary of late Indira Gandhi, he said the BJP Government in the State has never acknowledged the help and cooperation extended by the Centre for the development.
Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah said the Centre has provided nearly Rs 18,000 crore to the State to take up various developmental projects. The State would not have bagged the number 2 rank in terms of implementing Centre’s 20-point programme without the Central funds.
State has no funds
Majority of the developmental programmes are being implemented using the Central funds. The State by itself has no money to spend on development, he alleged.
KPCC President G Parameshwara exhorted the Congress workers in the State to wake up and educate people about its contribution to the development.
