Students take oath on Sankalp Divas in Kolar

Leaders needed

Leaders like former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was in power for a long time and was an image of grit and determination. She was a veteran and intelligent leader and implemented several projects and programmes for the welfare of the people.

Her ‘Green Revolution’ project has helped India attain self-dependence in food production, the assistant commissioner said.

Nagaraj Gowda welcomed the guests. A procession was organised on the occasion near Gandhi Vana, which was set in motion by Zilla Panchayat President Mangamma Muniswamy.
