There are many signboards in Bangalore to help the road users. It’s a pity sometime these signboards are touching the ground, some are broken and some not indicating the exact route. Also, the boards are pitched near the footpath making it inconvenient for the pedestrians.

One such signboard is on Ali Askar Road, near the Police Commissioner’s office. The board is almost touching the ground. This is causing problems to the passers-by. Will the authorities look into it and taken immediate action to see that no untoward incident happens?

Burning plastic scraps
We the residents of Rohini Apartments, 9th Cross, Wilson Garden, would like to bring to your notice the the large scale open air burning of hazardous plastic scraps on a daily basis by two scrap dealers across Hosur Road, resulting in a huge pall of toxic black fumes. The
practice has been going on for the last five years.

Every day, five to six lorry loads are burnt openly. Some days the pall of black smoke is very thick. We have complained to the KSPCB around four years back, some temporary relief was there for three-four months, but the problem resumed thereafter.
