He said Yeddyurappa’s continuance in office despite facing graft charges in land scams was an indication that the BJP leadership had succumbed to pressure from within the party.
“Nepotism is so rampant there by ministers and the chief minister himself. The BJP high command first decides to remove them but finally gives in as he (Yeddyurappa) threatens,” he said.
Asked to comment on the Supreme Court’s strong indictment of the Allahabad High Court saying there was “something rotten” there, Moily said he was not in a position to remark on that.
