UVCE gears up for mega reunion

According to the authorities, it would be one of the biggest reunion for more than 3,000 former students of the college.

Started in 1917, the college admits nearly 600 students for various technical courses every year. Several prominent students of the institute will participate in the 93rd foundation day celebrations. The occasion also coincides with the 150th birth anniversary of Sir MV.

The theme for the reunion this year is Giving for Change. Bangalore University vice-chancellor Dr N Prabhu Dev will release the Vision Document which enables the way forward for the UVCE to be one of the top 10 teaching and research institutions in India by 2017 when the college turns 100.

A unique live-in concert led by the well known music director Mano Murthy and actor Ramesh Aravind is planned for January 2, 2011.
