'Dal has done little for Hassan'

He was speaking at an election campaign for BJP in Maadaalu Village in Arsikere Taluk after visiting Baageshapura, Haaranahalli, Aggunda and Kanakatte here.

Somanna said that 75 per cent of the roads in rural areas are in a pathetic condition. Despite such conditions, the JD(S) has failed to undertake developmental projects, he added.

He said that people belonging to several villages were suffering from various diseases as they were being provided water containing Flouride. Somanna said that it had come to light that many villages were denied basic amenities. He said that even though JD(S) has controlled Zilla Panchayat and Taluk Panchayat, they have only helped only in the development of their partymen and failed to focus on providing services to villages. He said that BJP led government in the State is undertaking various development projects for protecting the interests of farmers. Somanna said that if they vote for BJP then he would remain as District In-Charge Minister of Hassan and undertake measures to solve the problems faced by the people.
