All work and low pay for poll staff

The staff appointed to handle the panchayat elections this are not being recompensed properly. They are, in fact, being paid less then what was given during the previous elections, they complained and demanded that appropriate action be taken in this regard.
“The work load for panchayat elections is heavy. As compared to the last elections, we are now being paid Rs 300 lesser, which is unjust.

“The district administration should immediately inform the State Election Commission about this indiscretion,” said an election staff member.
