All the injured are out of danger. However, the driver of the bus has suffered a fracture. The school authorities cancelled the trip and returned to Mysore after treating the injured at the Arsikere Government Hospital.
According to police, the students of Maharshi School of Mysore were on excursion to Shimoga and Jog Falls, in three mini-buses. The driver of one of the buses lost control and hit the roadside tree.
