"The mother and father forced-fed 'holy water' to her, and proceeded to inflict multiple wounds with their hands and feet, which led to the victim's death," a statement from the Russian Investigative Committee of prosecutors .
The young woman died in her parents' apartment in the central Russian city of Voronezh as a result of the "ceremony to exorcise demons" on January 7, Orthodox Christmas Day in Russia.
