Tucson shooting victim arrested

James Eric Fuller, a Democratic activist, was arrested after shouting “You’re dead!” at Tucson ‘Tea Party’ spokesman Trent Humphries towards the end of the town hall event on Saturday, Pima County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Jason Ogan was quoted as saying by the Los Angeles Times.

Fuller, a disabled veteran, was charged with making threats, intimidation and disorderly conduct and was involuntarily committed for a psychiatric evaluation, Ogan said.

The town hall meeting of victims and eyewitnesses of the January 8 gun attack, which was organised for an ABC News special programme, was held at St Odilia Catholic Church, which two of the shooting victims attended.

“Fuller was clearly more emotional about the town hall than anyone else,” Jim Kolbe, a former Republican Congressman, was quoted as saying.
