'Vairamudi Jatra' on March 15

This was decided at a meeting presided by MLA C S Puttaraju, here in Melkote.

Cultural programmes, sound and light programmes would be organised to entertain the devotees who arrive in large numbers to witness the utsav. The meeting also discussed to arrange bus services to facilitate devotees arriving from Mysore, Mandya, Bangalore and other cities.

Drinking water facilities would be made at different places to quench the thirst of devotees.

Permanent toilet facility at the premises, silting and cleaning the lakes and other issues were also discussed in the meeting.
