<p>The deceased, Shah Nawaz (25), was attached to Yeshwanthpur police station (Law & Order) and was staying at a rented house in Moodalapalya. He was unmarried.<br /><br />According to the police, the accident occurred when Nawaz was standing on roadside near a flyover at the Yeshwanthpur Circle. The driver of the bus (route number 271B) lost control on reaching the flyover and hit Nawaz. The bus driver escaped after the accident.<br /><br />Nawaz hailed from Honnudike village in Tumkur district. He had joined the police department in 2005. He was serving in the Yeshwanthpur police station for the last two years.</p>
