Students from 13 colleges of the City took part in the fest which was based on the theme, ‘Poseidon’ (dive through challenges) and related management with the aquatic world.

The aim of the fest was to encourage the competitive spirit of students through a range of activities.
The fest succeeded in bridging the gap between the corporate world and academics. Chief guest Dr M I M Nehruzii, Chairman of Great Eastern Management School, gave the inaugural address. The judges for the events were from the industry and academia.

All the students were brimming with enthusiasm on the inaugural day. Events like Ice Breakers, Ad-o-mania, Mock Stock, Best Manager, Time Management, Investor's Guide, Best Business Leader and Business Quiz happened on the first day in which the students took part in great numbers.

Ice Breakers was quite entertaining with innovative themes. Each team was named after a sea and introduced themselves differently.

The performances based on patriotism, campus and lifestyle of a techie were quite entertaining.
The Best Manager event was conducted to gauge the qualities of budding managers based on their aptitude, group discussion skills, stress management ability, discipline and inter-personal communication.

A large number of students took part in Time Management, a fun-filled event. It comprised rounds like treasure hunt wherein, even the audience enjoyed themselves fully.

Investor’s Guide and Mock Stock tested the knowledge of students about the various aspects of the share market like investment, trading, marketing etc.

The rest of the fest was postponed by a week because of the Karnataka bandh. The final rounds of each competition and some off-stage events happened on the concluding day.

Some off-stage events like Poster Presentation and Mascot Designing had a big turnout. Shishira, a BBM student from Surana College, felt happy about the fest. She was also one of the participants for the Business Quiz.

“Even in our college, we conduct various fests. But taking part in fests organised by other colleges is a different experience altogether. Envision was well-organised and totally fun-filled,” she said.
Narahari, Director of Communication, Texas Instruments, was the chief guest for the valedictory function and gave the prizes away to the winners.

Surana College emerged as the winner and took home the overall championship trophy. Kristu Jayanti College, Seshadripuram College and Indian Academy bagged many prizes as well.
