The C K Achukattu Police arrested a gang of seven dacoits Ganesh, Shivakumar, Naveen Nayak, Kishore Kumar, Keshavamurthy, Nagaraj and Manukumar.
The police have also recovered 20-gm gold chain and also two cellphones, all valued at Rs 60,000.
In another incident, Thyagarajanagar police solved nine theft cases by arresting three notorious thieves and recovering stolen property worth Rs 12.22 lakh.
Seena, Girish Babu and Vinay are the arrested.
