Judge stresses on healthy employer-employee relation

Judge H P Sandesh inaugurates 40th National Safety Day

Speaking after inaugurating the 40th National Safety Day here, he said during accidents they could compensate the material loss but one cannot regain lost health. Hence, they should give importance to safety measures.

Dr B R Pai, a noted industrialist, gave the call to learn, teach and practice safety and health.
Another industrialist, R Guru appreciated the efforts of the factories and boilers department in spreading awareness on safety among the public by organizing the safety walk.

Narendra Babu, senior assistant, Department of Factories& Boilers administered the safety Oath.

The Chief Guests presented the mementos to the winners of state-level competitions,organised by the Karnataka State safety institute Bangalore, for Mysore Region Industries.

In the safety quiz category, JK Tyres and Industries Limited (Vikranth Tyre Plant) won the 1st Prize, JK Tyres Radial Plant Limited won the 2nd Prize and M/s Hindustan Levers won the 3rd Prize.

The Winners of eh Safety Skit contest were, L&T-1st, Power Cell Battery India Limited- 2nd, JK Tyres &Industries Limited (Vikranth Tyre Plant)-3rd Prize. B V Srinivas of Klueber Lubrications India Pvt Limited, Mysore won the Best Worker Award in the Small Scale industries segment.

The Letter of Appreciation was given to Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, LPG Bottling Plant, Mysore, Nestle India Limited, Nanjangud and Jubliant Life Science Limited were recognised for Best Safe Industrial Boilers.

V K Shanmugam, TVS Motors, Dr Maqsood Ahmed A R, Neurosurgeon, Vikram Hospital presided over the function.  Members of NIPM and NIA were present on the occasion.
