Norma Herrmann, widow of the film's composer Bernard Herrmann, is putting the 20-page manuscript on the market to raise funds to produce a DVD boxset of her late husband's work, Sunday Express reported.
"It's such a famous score and means a lot to me. It's the only thing I've kept of Bernard's work as a last souvenir."
The piece has been offered up for auction, but Herrmann is also in negotiations to sell it to the University of California.
