Following a meeting with BWSSB Minister S Suresh Kumar, the authorities of the Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited have agreed to supply uninterrupted power to the pumping stations.
“Cauvery IV stage, phase one, runs on a 220kV line and there has not been any problem so far. The problem is only in the Cauvery I, II and III stages, which are the major suppliers of water to the City. We will conduct an inspection shortly and change the powerlines,” said a BWSSB officer.
