The company said the High Court of Karnataka and High Court of Maharashtra with the respective offices of the register of companies, Wipro Yardley Consumer Care have approved the amalgamation.
"The merger comes into effect from the appointed date April 1, 2010," Wipro said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
In 2009, Wipro had acquired Yardley business in Asia, Middle East and certain African markets for USD 45.5 million from the UK based Lornamead group.
