The software, which is a computer-based functional literacy for gatemen and gangmen to reduce human failure in rail accidents, was created earlier this year and was exhibited at the workshop held by SWR at JN Tata Auditorium, IISc, on Friday and Saturday.

"The gangmen and gatemen will be taught about the dos and don'ts, their duties through animation," said Srivatsa H K, principal of the training centre, and who conceptualised the animation.
