Vijay Mohan was riding pillion on a motorcycle with his uncle Uday Kumar, a resident of Michael Palya. They were on their way to CMH Road for shopping. Vijay, a 6th standard student from Chennai, had come to the city for summer holidays.
Woman kills self
A woman's body was found hanging from the ceiling at her Venkatapura residence in Madiwala locality on Friday. Jyothi, 30, has left a death note accusing her husband Mahalinge Gowda of physically abusing her for dowry. Unable to bear the torture, she took the extreme step.
Theft
A couple paid the price for parking their car near a hotel, while they attended a wedding at Palace Grounds. Armugam, the complainant stated that he parked the car inside Jayamahal Palace Hotel. On returning, they found their car door open and hand bag missing. Jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh and Rs 6,000 were stolen.
