JOIN USMembers of the Dalit Sangharsha Samiti organised a protest on the streets of Robertsonpet on Friday accusing Shashikumar of cheating people and demanding his dismissal.
Regardless of the rain, the members continued their protest at Surajmal Circle, shouting slogans.
They alleged that he had ill-treated innocent people “despite calling himself a supporter of human rights.” “He has been collecting money from sellers on MG Road by threatening them. He has also been bullying staff at government offices producing visiting cards that claim that he is the president of the Commission,” the protesters said.
They later handed a memorandum at the Nadakacheri demanding expulsion of Shashikumar from Kolar district. Samiti leaders Narasimha, Ravi, Kumar, Nataraj, Jaikumar and others participated in the protest.
