The team headed by senior IFS officer U V Singh seized documents pertaining to Matha Minerals partially owned by the Housing minister’s sons.
The inspection on Sunday was to ascertain the illegal mining and encroachment of 37.03 acres by the company.
Sources said that the team also ascertained the original lease area of the company, the mined area, mining operations outside the leased area and waste dumped on government land.
Officers of the Mines and Geology, Forest and Revenue departments took part in the inspection.
