Youth Mirror, a talent showcase that is in its second year was presented to the public at the JSS Auditorium in the City, recently. Performance art of every kind found a stage and a happy audience.

Proud Papas and joyous mothers brought their friends to witness their kids show off their talents. Friends and relatives came in droves. The hall was packed and everybody waited in anticipation. “My granddaughter is in the dance. She showed it to me at home. I’m so happy. She dances very well,” a glowing grandmum said.

In the green room, the levels of enthusiasm were high. Helping each other with costume and make up, the performers spoke thirteen to a dozen. Even excited and maybe slightly nervous, they were poised. Cool composure hung about them. Everything from dance to gymnastics to martial art to fusion styles were performed.

A labour of love for Vijay Surya, director of Youth Mirror and Jeevaan, Assistant Movie Director, choreographer and the co-ordinator of Youth Mirror, this event was organised by them to provide a platform for the up-and-coming talents in the City.

There was no dearth of star power at this event with the guests of honour being film actors Tara and Vijaya Raghavendra, PC Mohan, MP and film producer and director Chinne Gowda had all made time to be present at this event.  A resounding applause and deafening cheer marked the end of the show proving exactly how successful the show was.
