Interestingly, he had all the information about the brand on his fingertips. International make-up artist Joseph Dosh confesses that style means everything to him. He feels it would be nice if people develop their own style statement. “Some people are just born with style, some develop it and some just don’t have it,” he gushes.

But he feels Indian women don’t take much care to wear the right make-up. “Since Indian women have wheatish skin colour, it would be advisable to wear a make-up base to lighten the skin before applying make-up. The eyes are the most attractive part of the face and care must be taken to highlight that,” he says. Talking specifically about what the brand has to offer, Joseph says there was natural, light and long-lasting make-up available, “With advancements you have make-up that needs to be worn only once and will last through the day and protect your skin,” he points out.

He says lip glosses must be worn in such a way that it makes the lips look full and this brand had shiny lip glosses, available in 12 different shades, “This lip gloss has no shine but reflects like crystal when worn. That’s what an ideal lip gloss must do,” he adds.

Joseph had a few women come in to get a makeover done. He didn’t take long before he decided what make-up would suit what visage. He did well to highlight the eyes, upper cheekbone and lips. And Joseph used no brush to apply the make-up, he did the trick with his fingers, “It’s always best to work with bare hands. It smoothens the lines,” he says.

Talking about the makeover she got, Laura Nayak, a doctor by profession says the makeover would be an ideal thing for a party. “It was a little loud and even the lipstick was better suited for a foreign complexion. His work is good for he did well to cover the marks.

But the makeover he gave me would be perfect for a model, walking the ramp. It’s more for a special occasion and you can’t wear something like this on an ordinary day,” says Laura.
