Arsikere legislator K M Shivalinge Gowda said that the taluk officials were causing him mental agony and had curtailed his powers given to him as per the constitution. He complained that the tahsildars had acted disrespectfully with him and the KDP by not taking the meetings seriously. He said that there had been no meetings of  the Bagar Hukum and Aaradhana schemes. There was no mention of any progress in the sector.

He said that the funds given for the development of the SC ST had been given to Nagaratna who had lost the taluk  panchayat elections. The responsibility of the funds released will always be given to the ministers. Despite writing to the government about this they had not take, any action . He added that he was not informed of any development activity being taken up in  the sector. MLA H D Revanna expressed his dissatisfaction about the development work in the district. He said that the engineering college, medical college and railway development works were  incomplete.

Revanna said that it was agreed to give farmers Rs three lakh per acre but the government was given an application for Rs eight lakh per acre.

Responding to this accusation district in-charge minister V Somanna said that there was no information about this and he would convene one more meeting in a fortnight with the farmers and officials where this problem would be sorted out. He warned that action would be taken against officials who would miss the meeting.
