A brand new face

The horror film 8 has been launched with Sammir Dattani and a new face called Sheena Nayar. The spooky thriller will be directed by Wilson Louis, who has always found the
genres of horror and thriller fascinating.

The man has directed two short films namely Mee Mumbaikar, I have a dream and an award-winning film, I’m a Muslim — But Not a Terrorist. It was Louis, who pioneered the idea of directing the first live animated film named, Kalo — The Desert Witch, which is at the pre-production stage.

Says Louis, “8 is a smart, trendy, horror film which is youth-oriented. Horror as a genre is about large concepts and the treatment. The film will be shot in a straight schedule of 40 days in the ‘havelis’ and deserts of Rajasthan.”

Says Sheena, “The script was the key ingredient which made me choose this film as my launch. My forte is to act and I feel this film will give me the perfect platform to do just that.

Even the director felt that the character is a very intense one and that only a serious actor would be able to pull it off.”
