The one-stop retail chain format will offer both farming equipments and provide services for them. Being the sole distrubutor of — Oleo-Mac — the Italian manufacturer of farming equipments, the retail outlets will offer over 100 equipments for all kinds of farming including plantations and the products will come in the range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 60,000.
The firm also conceded that these outlets will be opened across India and will start operations in Karnataka with 70 stores earmarked for the state.
Functioning on a franchise model it aims at opening an outlet in every district of the country.
Each of these stores would have an investment of about Rs 15 lakh out of which the franchise will have to pay Rs 11 lakh, the firm said, adding that the first store is scheduled to open on August 8, in Davanagere.
