Addressing the protestors, DYFI District President Muneer Katipalla demanded CBI investigation into the case. Demanding that the family of victims should get justice, he flayed District-in-Charge Minister Krishna Palemar for not taking any steps in this regard. DYFI District Chief Secretary Dayananda Shetty said that the DYFI will give a memorandum to Mangalore  City Corporation Commissioner on Monday.

Former Corporator Mohammed Sharif, Panjimogaru Democratic Youth Federation of India President Mohammed Bhasheer, DYFI Town President Infiyar, Sajida of ‘Janavadi Mahila Sangatane’ and many others participated in the protest.

Meanwhile, the police have formed four teams to investigate the case, but were not able to get any clue till date.

Sources informed that around 60 persons have been questioned so far with regard to the case.

It may be recalled that in a gruesome incident, 35-year-old Razia and her 8-year-old daughter Zuva were brutally stabbed to death at their house at Panjimogaru near Kavoor in broad daylight on June 28. However, Razia’s one-year-old son Zaheed was not harmed, though he too was present at home at the time of incident.
