Only nine cases have been referred to doctors with only three blood samples being sent to National Institute of Virology (NIV) or the National Institute of Communicable Diseases (NICD) Pune.
Meanwhile, a non-resident Indian who arrived from US on May 2, 2009 voluntarily got himself admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Institutes of Chest Diseases. The identity of the male has not been revealed.
