<p>New Year celebrations turned fatal for two Bangalore youths, who accidentally fell and drowned in the famous Gaganachukki and Bharachukki twin falls at Shivanasamudra on Saturday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Kollegal rural police have identified the dead as Manoj, 27, an employee of GE and Abdul Ahmed, 16, a supplier in a hotel in Bangalore.<br /><br />Inspector Puttaswamy said that Manoj had arrived at Bharachukki falls on the eve of New year. However, he slipped and fell into the water and drowned. <br /><br />In a similar accident Abdul Ahmed was at Gaganachukki falls. He accidentally fell into the water and drowned, he added. The bodies were fished out with the help of trained swimmers.</p>
