The families of 59 soldiers, who came from various parts of the State and from Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Kerala, were presented with cash incentives and household items.
Brigadier Gurdip Singh, Commandant, MEG and Centre, while thanking all the relatives pointed out that as an organisation, the Armed Forces had undertaken a lot of beneficial schemes in terms of education, enrolments, vocational training and health-related schemes.
