In Chamarajanagar, people under the banner of ‘Anna nimondige naavu vedike’ gathered in front of the deputy commissioner’s office, shared sweets to celebrate the anti-corruption crusader’s victory. Later, they took out a celebratory rally to Jaibhuvaneshwari circle.
Vedike convenor Apurna D Silva, Deenabandhu institution honorary secretary G S Jayadeva, senior theatre artist K Venkataraju, C K Manjunath, Alur Mallu, Banashankara Aradhya and others were present.

BJP activists in Mandya celebrated by offering pooja to Gandhi cap at Krishnaraja circle near KSRTC bus stand under the leadership of Command Area Development Authority president D Ramalingaiah and district BJP president H P Mahesh.
The activists shouted slogans in praise of Anna Hazare, burst crackers and distributed sweets among themselves and onlookers.
