Rs one lakh fine on violators

Deputy Commission Dr N S Channappa Gowda said that all the sand transportation trucks in the district should be fitted with GPS and should adhere to the colour code, which is white colour on the bonnet.

Few trucks have been found plying without activating the GPS in the district. If anyone is found not following the guidelines, then a fine of Rs one lakh will be collected from the violators, warned the DC
