Addressing a news conference on Friday, Zilla Panchyat Chief said that he will inspect the road along with the Engineers concerned and then take action.

Director demanding for supply of fertilisers required in the Coffee plantations for second round of application of fertilisers.
He said that the farmers in Kodagu are demanding DAP fertilisers. Urea, Potash and DAP supplied during April to August has got over. However, the Department must supply 3,170 ton Urea, 5,440 ton DAP at the earliest.
The President said that Kodagu district Horticulture Department Deputy Director has been showing negligence while performing his duties. He has not been responding to and co-operating with the elected representatives.
Hence a letter has been written to the Horticulture Minister S A Ravindranath urging him to keep the said officer under suspension.
