Corporator's wife attempts suicide

Quoting the Corporator, police said Sandhya was being treated for respiratory problems for the past six years. On Thursday, she took an excess dosage of prescription drugs. She was admitted to Manipal Hospital in an unconscious state.

The Kalasipalya police are yet to verify whether it was a suicide bid or an accidental case of drug overdose.
