“Both Maran brothers have been questioned in 2G case,” a senior official of the agency told Deccan Herald.
The official, however, refused to reveal the date and place of quizzing the Maran brothers in connection with the preliminary enquiry in 2G allocation during 2001-07 and allegations of pushing for Aircel takeover by Malaysia-based Maxis group. Dayanidhi Maran, during his investigation, is understood to have refuted all the allegations against him including his role in the Aircel takeover by Maxis.
