The regular feature of the show — 35,000 to 40,000 pots sporting varieties of plants, leaves, flowers and vegetables — will be on display with horticulture departments from K R Sagar and Ooty participating. Competitions like vegetable carving, flower rangoli, ikebana and gardening — both government and private — have been organised. Indo-American Institute, private nurseries, Agriculture Science Centre, Suttur, and Horticulture College are the first timers in the show.<br /><br /> Horticulture and sugar minister S A Raveendranath will inaugurate the show on September 30 at 3.30 pm.<br /><br /> The entry fee is Rs 10.
