DSS rebukes as Sarita continues her stir

DSS leader Harihara Ananda Swamy on Thursday alleged that Sarita and her husband Vijay Kumar are passing insulting remarks on  DSS. The DSS has always stood for the rights of the exploited and opposed exploitation of women. The forum has fought many cases of sexual harassment against women and has brought the accused to book.

However, there was departmental inquiry being held in Sarita’s case (stayed by HC) and there are also parallel inquiries being conducted by the police, SC/ST commission and the university. The women’s harassment complaint committee  has been in favour of Sarita. It would be inappropriate to punish the guilty here on the recommendation of committee alone.
