Prince William's wife Kate pregnant?

In fact, the 29-year-old was seen patting or holding her stomach at least a dozen times during the two-hour visit to an aid centre in Copenhagen, according to British media reports.

Kate has already sparked pregnancy rumours by declining to eat peanut paste on her trip -- as expectant mothers are advised not to eat peanuts in case it triggers an allergy in their child.

"There was no reason for her not tasting it, she does not have an allergy," a Royal aide was quoted as saying.

Adding fuel to the pregnancy speculation was an announcement by the Clarence House that the 29-year-old second -in-line to the British throne and Kate would be making make Princess Margaret's old flat at Kensington Palace their permanent home.

According to the Clarence House, the couple plan to renovate the historic property at Kensington Palace, also home to the late Princess Diana, before moving there in 2013.

Kate is understood to have fallen in love with apartment 1A when she visited Kensington Palace before her wedding to Prince William in April this year.

The property has not been refurbished since Margaret moved in with Lord Snowdon following their 1960 marriage. This will be done before William and Kate take the apartment, by which time the Prince will have finished his deployment as a pilot at Royal Air Force Valley, Anglesey.

They will meanwhile have the use of a smaller flat at Kensington Palace, which Prince Harry will eventually move into from his apartment at Clarence House.
