Srinivaspur man's body found in AP

The dead was identified as Krishnamurthy Rao (40), a resident of Somayajalapalli in Srinivaspur taluk.

The body was found in a forest area behind a transport office on the Punganur Road in Madanapalli, on Saturday morning. The passers-by who noticed the body immediately informed Madanapalli Rural police station. Sub-inspector Kala Venkataramana who visited the spot found a mobile in the bag and informed the family members of the Rao.

According to the sources, Rao, who owned a tea stall in his village, had left his house on November 1 on the pretext of visiting Mantralaya. Rao had called up his wife
Anusuya on Friday night and told her that he was in Madanapalli and would return to the house on following day. However, his body was found on Saturday morning.

The police have found a bottle of poison along with coir rope. According to Rao’s family members he didn’t have any debts or any enmity with other. But off late had health problems and suspected that he might have committed suicide due to health problems.

Rao is survived by wife and two children-Sudheendra and Sudarshan. A case has been registered by the Madanapalli Rural police station.
