The members of Arkavathy Layout Allottees’ Association have hit upon a novel form of protest to register their resentment against the Bangalore Development Authority.
They will flood the BDA Commissioner’s email ID and fax machines with their messages to draw attention towards their plight, from February 4.
Convener of the Association, Sanjay Marlecha, said the mails and faxes will seek status update on the layout. “The faxes and emails will be sent before noon every day. While the BDA commissioner has promised us of providing status update on the layout work, the website has not rendered anything,” he said.
The layout allottees will be given e-mail ID and the fax numbers to send messages as a sign of protest. “If the BDA fails to respond by March, we will approach the High Court for remedial action,” he said.
