Bosch opens new testing facility

Located besides the electronic control unit production facility of Bosch at Naganathapura, Bangalore, it will help enhance the reliability of automotive components like electronic control units (ECU), in varied environmental conditions, the firm said.  RBEI Managing Director Friedhelm Pickhard said, the new lab will begin with ECU testing and is equipped to test other automotive products in future. The tests conducted here adhere to all relevant international standards. With local domain expertise the worldwide network of Bosch reliability test engineers will influence the recent standards to cover the local applications for vehicles.
