Their luck, however, ran out when the police finally busted the gang and recovered the booty.
The incident occurred at the Lifestyle Resources Private Limited, a garment factory. The Bangalore South East division police have nabbed Eshwar (28), Shekhar (32), Harish (21), Mohan Raj (30), Sameer (23), Mahantesh (22), Rajendra Prasad (21) and Murthy (24) in connection with the case.

The gang had devised a unique method of looting the firm. They had planted Mahantesh as their mole in the factory.
Giving a fake name Sharanya to him, the gang prepared a high school marks card and a fake identity card. Mahantesh successfully joined the company as a security guard.
In August, when Sharanya was on night shift his accomplices arrived at the factory in a transport vehicle. They tied another worker K G Nanjunda, who too was on night duty and decamped with garments and other valuables worth Rs 8 lakh from the factory.

However, the Police managed to nab the gang.  The police have recovered jeans pants, jackets and computer monitors from their possession.
