<p> The Lok Sabha on Monday witnessed disruptions with the agitating MPs of the Telangana Rashtra Samiti demanding for an early creation of the new state. <br /><br /></p>.<p>The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) also walked out to protest against government’s lack of initiative for not providing any storage facilities for food-grains. <br /><br />The eight pro-Telangana Congress MPs, who were suspended for four days after disrupting proceedings of Lok Sabha last week, too boycotted the proceedings of the Lower House on Monday, to protest against muzzling their voices for the new state. <br /><br />Leader of Opposition and BJP heavyweight Sushma Swaraj demanded that the government should make its stand clear on Telangana and inform the House about the steps it had taken so far to meet the demand of the people of the region. <br /><br />Home Minister P Chidambaram later told journalists that the government would respond on the issue of Telangana as soon as possible.<br /><br />The TRS MPs K Chandrasekhara Rao and Vijayashanti walked into the well of the House soon after the Lok Sabha met for the day. Holding placards that read ‘Jai Telangana’ and shouting slogans demanding for the creation of a new state from Andhra Pradesh, they sat on the floor and staged a sit-in demonstration even as Speaker Meira Kumar started the Question Hour.</p>
