<p>At the meet organised by the All India Bank Officers' Association (AIBOA), K Vishwanatha Naik, AIBOA's general secretary, said: "There is severe shortage of manpower. As a result, we are asked to work even on Sundays with no compensation. <br />Besides, we are given charge sheets or kept under suspension for no good or sufficient reasons. Even minor errors are blown out of proportion.”<br /><br />Another member said that the Government banks have been conducting campus recruitments only since the last two years. <br /><br />“However, these youngsters don’t know anything. Also, once they are trained they leave for better opportunities,” she said.<br /><br />Justice Dr S R Nayak, chairman of Karnataka State Human Rights Commission was the chief guest at the event.<br /></p>
