<p>Thieves made away with jewellery and other valuables worth more than a crore, from a pawn shop in Hunsur on Friday night.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Apart from valuables, the thieves have also decamped with Rs two lakh in cash.<br /><br />The theft came to light on Saturday morning, when Krishna pawn shop, belonging to Anil Chowdhury and Narad Dadeez, was opened for business. <br /><br />Owner’s suspicion<br /><br />The owners suspect the involvement of Narendra, a former employee of the shop. <br />According to Anil, Narendra had visited him on Friday night. <br /><br />He also runs a pawn shop at Periyapatna and had been absconding since Saturday morning. A dog squad from Mysore was pressed into service and a case has been registered.<br /></p>
